Services to help restore and repair your body after an auto accident, sporting events or after being a weekend yard warrior. These services work the body on a much deeper level to release tight, sore, overworked, achy muscles. They help to restore flexibility and decrease pain and discomfort while creating new healing memories for your body.
Medical Massage – is for Auto Accident Injuries or Work related injuries. Your doctor may prescribe massage as part of your treatment plan to recover from your injuries. Massage can address the stress that goes with a traumatic event like a car accident, or the on the job injury, and it can help address many of the sprains, strains, and other injuries that are common such as: whiplash, headaches and back pain. No two car accidents or on the job accidents are the same and everyone responds differently. I tailor my treatments for each client’s unique needs.
Deep Tissue Massage – is a type of massage aimed at the deeper tissue structures of the muscles and fascia. Deep tissue massage uses many of the same movements and techniques as Swedish massage, but the pressure will generally be more intense. It is also a focused type of massage to release chronic muscle tension or knots. Client and Therapist work together to address any issues that need work on to promote the clients well-being and healing.
Sports/Trigger Point Therapy – same as the Deep Tissue massage but with the added work of priming the body for your upcoming event or helping the body restore and relax after your event.
BodyWork/Stretching – these methods are part of targeting a specific group of muscles to stretch them out or to start teaching your muscles that they can relax and stretch. It’s a slow process that allows the body to open up gradually. This is good for people who sit at a desk all day, drive long periods of time or work out a lot.
Kinesio Taping – The Kinesio Taping® Method is applied over muscles to reduce pain and inflammation, relax overused or tired muscles, and support muscles in movement on a 24-hour-a-day basis. The taping is non-restrictive and allows for full range of motion.
